The family income must be at or below 100% of the Federal Poverty Level for children between the ages of 6 and 18. For children that are age 6 and below the families income must be at or below the 133% of the Federal Poverty Level. This level depends on the family size. Colorado funds their Medicaid program with both federal and state funds and the program is overseen by the Department of Health Care Policy and Financing.</span></span></p>
